Puzzle maps are all about using your head to gather clues and find a solution for whatever predicament you're in— however, that doesn't mean you should have to put on your detective hat just to find a map to play.
We've put together this list of the best puzzle maps to provide you with five unique map options so that you can save your best detective work for the game.

Perfection

Version: 1.20.1
Perfection is a mostly greyscale puzzle map designed by Ukit. In it, you're sneaking around a museum after closing using your mysterious Ruby Amulet. There are moments of timed parkour, a lot of exploration, and various puzzles to solve. The pressuring time puzzles and the more laid-back exploration segments made this map a nice mix of comforting and exciting. It's great for players who want to spend their time finding and solving puzzles. If you'd rather play something with more straightforward puzzles, I'd recommend starting with one of the other maps on our list, like Lightbox 2.
Lightbox 2

Version: 1.20.4
Lightbox 2 is a puzzle game created by FingerMaps and Technodono. In the map, you'll use special blocks to change the directions of fired projectiles so that they hit a designated block. After solving the puzzle in one room, you'll be immediately directed to the next room with a new puzzle of the same type. It's a very straightforward map where you won't have to worry about finding the next puzzle or missing necessary items or information.
Pits and Doors

Version: 1.21
Puzzler's Pits and Doors is a puzzle map where your singular objective is to find all of the ores hidden in the maze. To find them, you'll need to press different colored buttons to move walls and floor segments of matching colors. It sounds easy in theory, but it will prove to be a challenge since you'll constantly have to press buttons and maneuver around the maze to reach each ore. There are technically three difficulties corresponding to three different ores. Start with the simplest to gain a feel for the maze or take on the monumental task of finding them all right from the start. Whichever you choose, you're guaranteed to have at least a few hours of fun!
Evergrowth

Version: 1.20.4
Gamemode 4's Evergrowth puzzle map does simple block-pushing puzzles in a challenging and appealing way. The map has its own resource packs that make it look like a run-down factory setting. It also incorporates mechanisms like magnetization and teleportation in its puzzles to make them more unique and challenging for players. This prevents Evergrowth from feeling too repetitive while keeping its puzzles relatively easy to understand. Of course, that doesn't mean that they're easy to solve! Each puzzle will require you to look at the situations in detail to find the correct solution. Luckily, the game comes with puzzle reset and move undo buttons if you make a mistake.
Be-Boxed

Version: 1.20.1
Playing Be-Boxed is like playing a puzzle flash game in Minecraft. It was created by FingerMaps and Technodono. Within it, you play as a little green slime named Blobby. You go through level after level of puzzles, using Blobby to move objects to get a key. You'll move to the next puzzle once you grab a key. It was a very relaxing experience for me, and it felt like I'd gotten a second game for free.
