Are you looking to change up your weapon build in Throne and Liberty? While it might sound like a pain to level your abilities and gear again, using a skill conversion book makes the process much easier by directly swapping your levels. That way, you won’t need extra growth books.
Where to find Skill Conversion Books in Throne and Liberty
Throne and Liberty offers two ways to get skill conversion books:
- Storyline completion packages
- Purchase from Zenus’ Star Shop for 250 Star Crystals
As you advance through Throne and Liberty’s storyline, you’ll free congratulatory packages that contain rare rewards and some Sollant. Skill Conversion Books are among the potential options you can find, particularly in later chapters when epic-grade items are common.
Although this isn’t an unlimited way to get Skill Conversion Books, you can quickly get at least a dozen as you advance through the main story. Considering it’s a rare item, conserving them as much as possible is your best bet.
Alternatively, you can buy Skill Conversion Books during the Zenus’ Star Battle Pass event. Until October 31, 2024, you’ll obtain Star Crystals to use in the event’s shop. Under the Season category, you’ll spot Skill Conversion Books for 250 Star Crystals, with up to ten available per character. Future events may tweak the prices and currency a bit, but we can expect it this to reappear in the future, too.
How to use Skill Conversion Books in Throne and Liberty
Skill Conversion Books are a handy resource for swapping your skill levels when you try out a new spell or build. To use it, right-click or select any ability you wish to transfer your levels from to open the Skill Growth menu. Rather than leveling the spell, though, switch to Swap and pick any two spells to view your new levels for each one. Once you’re ready to transfer your stats, select Skill Swap to switch the two levels.
Using a Skill Conversion Book to transfer your skill EXP lets you instantly get a head start to leveling a new weapon without using a bunch of growth books. That way, if you know you’ll never use a particular skill again, you can transfer all its experience points to another ability, conserving your growth books for later use.
