Ever since his first appearance in Dragon Ball Super, Goku Black, and his Super Saiyan Rosé transformation rose to the spot as absolute fan favorites, a fact that helped the antagonist secure his spot within Dragon Ball Sparking Zero‘s massive starting roster.
But in true Sparking (or Budokai Tenkaichi) fashion, Black won’t be available from the get-go. For all looking to get him as soon as possible, here’s how to unlock Goku Black in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero.
How to Unlock Goku Black in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero
There are currently two ways to unlock Goku Black in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, as you can both wish for him after calling Super Shenron and selecting ”I want more characters” or purchase him from the game’s shop for 75,000 Zenni. Be advised, however, that both Black —and Fused Zamazu— will only be added to the Shop after you reach Player Level 20. Like with all characters and their transformed variants, unlocking Goku Black will automatically give you access to Goku Black (Super Saiyan Rosé).
You can raise your Player Level fast in Sparking Zero by simply completing battles with any character, with the most effective way to do so being by completing the game’s many Character Episodes. Playing with characters will also allow you to raise your Proficiency with them to unlock even more rewards. You can also further boost your level grinding by selecting “I wish to raise my Player Level” after summoning any version of Shenron.
How to summon Super Shenron in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero
You can summon Super Shenron in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero by gathering all seven Super Dragon Balls and then heading to “Come Forth.” Differently from regular old Shenron, you will only become able to collect the Super Dragon Balls and summon the Super variant after completing all of Goku’s Episode Battles. If you have purchased the game’s Ultimate Edition, you will have access to one Super Shenron summoning from the get-go and thus will have the ability to get Goku Black immediately after completing the tutorial.
