If you don’t plan out the upgrades you are going to get on the PETS GO! skill tree, you can end up hindering your own progress. Here are the best skill tree Upgrades in the game from the start to later game.

All the best Upgrades to get first in PETS GO!
The first few upgrades that you open up on the skill tree are all important. However, the decision becomes more difficult once it starts really branching. Here are the best Upgrades in PETS GO! and the order in which you should get them.
Auto Roll Branch
At this point, you are going to have Inventory and Golden Dice as options, but you have to go for Auto Roll (600 Coins). This means you can AFK, and you’ll still be rolling for those cute pets.
However, this first upgrade should be followed by Faster Auto Roll (1.5k) and the very important Hide Rolls (3.25k) upgrade. Of course, you want faster rolling speeds, but having the option to hide rolls means you can now do other things at the same time.
This is where you can stop in this branch for now, as there are other important upgrades you need to get before improving this one.
Breakables Branch
The Breakables are the next branch that you need to open up. First, grab the Golden Dice (425) upgrade. Now, you can go to the Breakables branch screen. This, along with the money you gain from rolling, will be your major source of income.
For starters, focus on the three upgrades: Large Coin Piles (1.4k), Coin Crates (6k), and Break Faster (4.25k). This will set you up for some good money farming, but before continuing to upgrade here, there are other areas you need to focus on first.
You should also keep opening the branch to the right until you get to the Relics upgrades. Getting Relics actually increases your roll luck. Considering that you don’t have to spend money on it other than getting the upgrade at first, I’d say this is a good deal.
Inventory Branch
Inventory should be next, and not just so that you can see pets and items in your backpack. This will open three other major branches: Boosts, Trade, and Leveling.
Trade
If you are F2P, I definitely suggest avoiding Trade for now, as you won’t be able to get anything worth trading for quite a while. And if you’re unlucky like me, then stack another quite a while on top of that.
However, if you are willing to purchase Diamonds from the store, then you can definitely open up this branch and go to the Trading Plaza (3.5k). You’ll be able to find some pretty rare units there sold by other players (you can also sell here if you purchase a booth upgrade).
Boost
The most important branch here, however, is Boosts. You can purchase luck and coin boosts as well as a Hoverboard.
The Hoverboard (1k) should be your first purchase after you set up the Breakables, since you are going to have to be moving around from pile to crate to pile again across the entire area.
You can also buy speed boosts for the board along with skins, though these aren’t pressing at the start. I may have wasted quite a bit of coin on the ducky hoverboard skin way too early, but sometimes you have to treat yourself.
Potions
The other important part here is the Potions. Honestly, at this point, go wild and get as many Upgrades as you can here, but especially the Tier 2 Potions (14k total), along with a Potion Vending Machine (4k) since purchasing from it will be one of your tasks to level up.
Luckier Branch
Now that you’ve set up everything else, you can focus on improving your rolls. Here, you can get luck upgrades as well as Egg Upgrades, which will affect the quality of the pets you get.
Focus on the Super Lucky upgrade first, then go down and grab the all of the available eggs. You’ll definitely want to get that +1 Pet Equip (950k) soon, too, as it increases the number of your pets that are working with you by one.
Golden Dice Branch
When focusing on pulls, you can’t forget the Dice upgrades. Go for the Rainbow Dice (3.5k) and Gold Strikes (2.75k) here first. Both of these upgrades will give you a chance to pull for a better pet.
When you’ve gotten all of these upgrades, you can essentially spread out however you want, though my suggestion to still invest in the Breakables branch first since you’ll get more coin which means more upgrades unlocked.
