Impress Amanda In Life Is Strange: Double Exposure By Flipping Paintings

If you want to impress Amanda in Chapter 1 of Life is Strange: Double Exposure, you’ll need to learn what she likes. While investigating the Snapping Turtle to find talking points, you can choose to fix the wrongs of an ill-thought-out college prank.

To begin this optional task, head over to the right side of the stage and look at the note from Amanda, which says, “To the assholes who keep flipping the paintings: STOP MESSING WITH OTHER PEOPLE'S ART!” This note is a clear indication of Amanda's passion for art. It sets the stage for your mission to flip over the upside-down paintings scattered around the Snapping Turtle.

By completing this task, not only will you impress Amanda, but you will also earn an achievement if you’re a completionist. It's a great way to show that you care about her interests and the art that surrounds you.

All Flipped Painting Locations in The Snapping Turtle

In total, there are three paintings that you need to flip. If you manage to turn them all over, Amanda will be grateful for your efforts. Each painting is uniquely positioned, adding a bit of a challenge to your task.

Flipped Painting #1 – Native Artist Spotlight

The first painting is quite easy to find. It’s the middle painting directly above Amanda’s note. To fix it, simply look at the painting and select the “Fix” option to turn it over and rehang it in the correct orientation. This simple action is your first step in impressing Amanda.

Flipped Painting #2 – College Art

For the second painting, turn 180° from the first and head towards the fireplace on the opposite wall. You will find the second painting on the wall decorated with a mural of a pirate and her cat. Look closely, as this collage of words is definitely not meant to be upside-down!

Flipped Painting #3 – Robot Painting

The third painting is located near the bathrooms. To reach it, walk towards the bar and then turn left. The painting shows a robot relaxing among flowers and is situated on the wall to the right of the bathroom doorway. Make sure to navigate around the two people sitting in front of it before you can flip it over.
