Alone In Peril Quest Guide — Good Ending Walkthrough
As the Alone in Peril quest begins, you will take on the role of Jiaoqiu and encounter Mok Tok and Hoolay in their Foxian forms. After interacting with Hoolay, he will instruct Jiaoqiu to head to the port to assess the situation. At this juncture, you have two choices: follow Hoolay's orders or opt for an optional mission to ask for help. To achieve the good ending, follow these steps:
- Exit the area where Hoolay and Mok Tok are located and proceed to the Dock Area upstairs.
- Upon arrival, converse with the Suspicious Ferryman to gather intel about the Ports.
The Suspicious Ferryman will inform you that the Ports remain open and that the Sky-Faring Commission is clearing routes to prioritize starskiffs heading to the Skysplitter. This makes the Borisin ships more visible if they attempt to escape. Next, you should:
- Return to Hoolay to negotiate further and secure a good ending for the mission.
By completing these steps, Hoolay and the Borisins will not pose further harm to the natives of Xianzhou Luofu for the foreseeable future. However, engaging in the optional mission to "Ask for Help" before returning to Hoolay will alter the mission's conclusion, leading to different outcomes.
Alone In Peril Quest Guide — Bad Ending Walkthrough
If you choose to pursue the "Ask for Help" option, be aware that this decision can lead to dire consequences. Depending on your dialogue choices, you may inadvertently endanger the NPCs you seek aid from. To successfully complete the "Ask For Help" optional mission, follow these steps:
- Speak with three NPCs: the Cloud Knights Soldier, the Realm-Keeping Orderly, and the Starskiff Pilot.
- During these conversations, you will receive a warning message indicating that “Asking for Help” will have permanent consequences in the game.
Despite the warning, you can choose to ask for assistance from the NPCs. Be prepared, as the NPCs will disappear after your conversation to search for help. Afterward, return to Hoolay to conclude the quest.
