Genshin Impact 5.0 is right around the corner and it will add the new Pyro region Natlan to the game. This means a massive new map with multiple areas to explore and obtain rewards. The Natlan region is expected to be at least as big as Sumeru in version 3.1. Although there are not many official sources about Natlan’s map yet, here is a compilation of all Natlan map leaks, including the location of the Natlan tribes and main cities.
Discovering the Tribes of Natlan
Natlan is composed of six distinct tribes, each with unique customs, rituals, and mechanics. These tribes contribute to the rich tapestry of life and culture within the Natlan region. By combining the Genshin Impact 5.0 leaks with landscape shots from Natlan teasers, we can form a clearer picture of what to expect from this vibrant area.
- Scions of the Canopy: Known for their Yumkasaurs, Messengers/Couriers, Hunters, and Extreme Sports.
- Children of Echoes: Featuring Tepetlisaur Saurians, Cave miners, and Jewelers.
- People of the Spring: Home to Koholasaurus, known for its vacation spots and hot springs.
- Masters of the Night Wind
- Flower-Feather Clan
- Collective of Plenty
Each tribe is expected to inhabit different areas across Natlan. Recent leaks highlight the settlements for the People of the Spring, Scions of the Canopy, and Children of Echoes in the leaked Natlan map. Notably, the Scions of the Canopy tribe is reported to be closest to the main Natlan city, which will be a focal point for exploration.
Geographical Positioning and Size of Natlan
Located west of the Sumeru desert area, Natlan is a unique Pyro Nation that operates independently from Sumeru. It is a separate continent, as indicated by leaks suggesting that Natlan is positioned adjacent to the Sumeru desert without any land connection. The Natlan region is expected to match the size of the Sumeru 3.1 map, featuring a similar layered structure.
According to additional leaks, there are approximately 13 to 14 underground caves in the 5.0 Natlan map, each containing 1 to 4 layers. These caves are reported to be complex, though not as intricate as those in Sumeru. This further confirms that Natlan stands apart from Sumeru, separated by ocean waters.
As we eagerly await the arrival of Genshin Impact 5.0, keep an eye out for more leaks and updates regarding the Natlan region! If you have any insights or information we may have missed, feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below.
